What is Geisha 2.0?

Japanese Geisha are artists in the field of entertainment and hospitality, trained in the arts of calligraphy, musical performance, dance, and tea ceremonies. Whilst not as common as in pre-war times, in modern Japan Geisha are still engaged for social gatherings and to create an environment of fun and hospitality.

Geisha 2.0 merges the Geisha concept with the rich culture of Melbourne, creating hospitable natural adventures for travellers and locals alike. In place of traditional artforms, Geisha 2.0 provides excellent hospitality and unveils the flavour of Melbourne – the culture, people, and diverse food, wine and coffee.

3.5 Hour Coffee Adventure

5 Hour Premium Evening Adventure

A premium Geisha 2.0 experience starts at a pre-determined location (communicated to participants 24 hours beforehand), before naturally evolving over the evening – depending on the desires and dynamics of the group being entertained. Melbourne is discovered by foot, tram and taxi with a number of venues taken in, much like a progressive dinner, but without a formal structure or pre-determined locations.

A typical adventure lasts around 5 hours and includes four to six venues, with one or more drinks and a number of delicious shared dishes at each. Our select party size provides great opportunities for conversation with good company. A Geisha 2.0 adventure aims to provide a satisfied stomach, new tastes, and an unforgettable Melbourne experience.

This is the super indulgent, long night on the town and makes an awesome gift for that friend who has everything; or for those looking for the ultimate immersion in the Melbourne food scene.

This adventure runs on October the 11th between 6.30 and 11.30pm.

$250 ($100 deposit via the website and $150 cash on the night)

A great introduction to this fabulous city if you’re just here for a quick visit.  It’s suited to those who don’t like being out too late on school nights or with limited time. This day or evening adventure visits 3 to 4 venues with drinks and food en route. Based on the principles of natural adventure, your experience can easily continue afterwards at a recommended bar or cafe.

This adventure runs on Tuesday the 8th of November 2011 between 6.30 and 9.30pm

$150 per person ($50 deposit with $100 cash on the night)
